See, we really ARE gard(e)ners

Well, just about in time for Stacie and the kids to come back from their latest trip to Utah, the garden will have produced its first harvest. The lettuce varieties are just about ready. During our FHE on Sunday, I and some of our friends sampled a few of the outer leaves and they were very tasty. But I'm trying to wait till everyone else gets home to actually harvest a few heads.

Red potatoes growing.

Romaine and Iceberg (seriously, who knew iceberg actually has green leaves?)

Mmm...Buttercrunch lettuce.

These last two are just to show size compared to my hand - these are about the size of small heads that they have in the store.

This week

We got out in nature last weekend at RSU campus and we actually saw 2 deer as well but the kids like the gravel the best.
